same but different

Yes, they work! Just as, if not more, effective than liquid versions at ensuring your hair stays soft, smooth and moisturized. Bars are specially designed to meet the needs of different hair textures. Just like the bottled counterparts, there is no one-size-fits all shampoo or conditioner bar. Pick the one that most closely aligns with the bottled version you’re currently using.

caring is key

keep your bar away from water
Nothing will make your soap disintegrate faster than keeping it wet. Avoid storing your soap in a place that is constantly in contact with water, like in the direct stream of the shower.

let your bar air dry
The more time your soap spends completely dry, the longer it will last. Allow the bar to air dry out its moisture after each use.

store your bar in a properly draining dish
A wire rack, bamboo soap dish, or a self-draining soap dish is a must. Soap dishes without drainage keep the moisture longer and will make it harder for your soap to dry out in between uses. Find our favorite dishes here!
